A Preventive Maintenance check includes a complete on-site
checkout by a trained Technician tuning the unit to factory
specifications, a pump oil change and a new nozzle.
* PROPER MAINTENANCE: The pump oil should be changed every
300-500 hours of use (varies by manufacturer). All manufacturers
agree that the pump oil be changed a minimum of once per year.
- Check nozzle, replace if worn. (A worn or plugged nozzle
can reduce the pressure and should be replaced every 6 months.)
- Replace pump crankcase oil. Pump oil included. *
- Check pump pressure.
- Check pump volume.
- Check oil burner, air band or pilot light adjustment
- Check engine fuel filter cartridge and clean out. Recommend
replacement if necessary, not included.
- Adjust belt tension.
- Check hoses for wear. (A worn hose can pose safety issues.)
- Adjust burner for best combustion.
- Check thermostat for proper cycling.
- Check gun, wand, grips for wear or damage.
- Check for coil sooting. Cleaning not included. Check for
coil scaling. Cleaning not included.
- Check for contaminated fuel tank and flush if required.
- Check chemical inlet system.
- Inspect quick couplers.
- Oil the pump wicks as required.
- Check amp draw.
- Check engine crankcase oil.
- Check engine spark plug.
- Check burner fuel filter.
