Preventative Maintenance Check & Oil Change

A Preventive Maintenance check includes a complete on-site checkout by a trained Technician tuning the unit to factory specifications, a pump oil change and a new nozzle.

* PROPER MAINTENANCE: The pump oil should be changed every 300-500 hours of use (varies by manufacturer). All manufacturers agree that the pump oil be changed a minimum of once per year.

  1. Check nozzle, replace if worn. (A worn or plugged nozzle can reduce the pressure and should be replaced every 6 months.)
  2. Replace pump crankcase oil. Pump oil included. *
  3. Check pump pressure.
  4. Check pump volume.
  5. Check oil burner, air band or pilot light adjustment
  6. Check engine fuel filter cartridge and clean out. Recommend replacement if necessary, not included.
  7. Adjust belt tension.
  8. Check hoses for wear. (A worn hose can pose safety issues.)
  9. Adjust burner for best combustion.
  10. Check thermostat for proper cycling.
  11. Check gun, wand, grips for wear or damage.
  12. Check for coil sooting. Cleaning not included. Check for coil scaling. Cleaning not included.
  13. Check for contaminated fuel tank and flush if required.
  14. Check chemical inlet system.
  15. Inspect quick couplers.
  16. Oil the pump wicks as required.
  17. Check amp draw.
  18. Check engine crankcase oil.
  19. Check engine spark plug.
  20. Check burner fuel filter.
